Alcaraz sets up quarter-final clash with Alexander Zverev
Carlos Alcaraz has reached the quarter-finals of the French Open for the third consecutive year, after defeating Karen Khachanov in straight sets on Monday.
The 19-year-old Spaniard, who is seeded sixth in Paris, was in impressive form as he dispatched Khachanov 6-1 6-4 6-4 in two hours and 14 minutes.
Alcaraz will now face Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals, after the German defeated Brandon Nakashima in four sets.
Alcaraz has been in excellent form on clay this season, winning the Barcelona Open and the Madrid Open.
The Spaniard is now one of the favorites to win the French Open, and he will be hoping to continue his impressive run and claim his first Grand Slam title.
