India In Control of First Test After Bumrah Wrecks Bangladesh

Jasprit Bumrah produced another superb bowling display for India as Bangladesh were skittled for 149 in their first innings to leave the tourists in complete control of the opening Test.

Bumrah took 4-50 to dismantle Bangladesh's top order, while Mohammed Siraj mopped up the tail with 3-20 as India took a huge step towards claiming a fourth successive Test series win over their rivals.

Bumrah's brilliance

Bumrah has been in sensational form in recent months and he continued that form in Chattogram. He made the key breakthrough of Shakib Al Hasan in the eighth over, trapping the Bangladesh captain lbw for 26.

Bumrah then added the wickets of Liton Das, Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim to leave Bangladesh wobbling at 94-4

Siraj cleans up the tail

Siraj made sure of the victory by taking the final three wickets. He removed Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 44, Taskin Ahmed for 7 and Ebadot Hossain for 1 to wrap up the innings in just 54.2 overs.
